Mr. Walter Khalonyere is the Chairperson Board of Management of Wesleyan Methodist Training College. He is a seasoned carrier educator and manager. He has served in different capacities in the education sector rising from a classroom teacher, to an administrator, manage r and then proprietor.

Khalonyere has served as Principal New Dawn High School, Director Open Schools Initiatives in Kenya (NGO), Director Osec High School, Director Prunus Joy School,  and a Board Member Shilce Secondary School.

Khalonyere is a Certificate Holder in Sales & Marketing, a Diploma holder in Education, has a Bachelor Degree In Education and now a Finalist Masters student at Africa University in Peace Leadership And Governance (MPLG). He has attended several short courses in Leadership and Education Management. He is a licensed Teacher and member of several professional bodies.

Khalonyere is an eminent member of the Wesleyan family and currently the Men President of the Global Methodist Church Men in Kenya and serves on the Transitional steering committee of the Global Methodist church in Kenya.
